One of the things in my bucket list is to dye my hair with a very bright color. But then, I’m always unsure if I can do it. First, my previous jobs do not allow extreme hair colors, fortunately, I’m a home-based freelancer now! Then, I’m not sure what color would actually suit me, I don’t want to spend money that will make me look like a joke. Until I found a very interesting product: the Penshoppe Colored Hair Wax.
What I like about the Penshoppe Colored Hair Wax is it’s only 139 pesos, it’s very affordable, very easy to apply, and it looks like a legit salon hair color. I mean, it’s like I spent a lot of money and time in a salon for this look. Honestly, it only took me 139 pesos, less than 10 minutes, and some makeup skills.
So, if you’re interested in having a red hair color, just follow these:
Penshoppe Colored Hair Wax How to Use
1.) I used the hair wax on a dry hair, and I only needed to prepare the red hair wax and a comb.
2.) Instead of using hand gloves, I used bare hands in applying the colored wax.
3.) But instead of using just your fingers, use the palm of your hand for the application. It resulted in a more even coloring of my hair. Try to spread the colored wax all over your palm before applying it to your hair.
4.) After you applied the colored hair wax, use a wide-toothed comb to even the color. I also tried using the compressed comb, but I can’t comb my hair because it can’t pass through the hair wax.
5. With my thick hair, it only took me about 10 minutes or less to color my hair red, and I am so satisfied with the result! By the way, my hair color is dark brown when I used the colored hair wax.
Penshoppe Hair Color Wax Review
I definitely love how good it looked on my dark hair because I tried other shampoo colorings on my hair but none of them actually worked.
So, let me share my thoughts about the Penshoppe Hair Color Wax:
- Price ✭✭✭✭✭
- Appearance ✭✭✭✭
- Smell ✭✭✭✭
- Washability ✭✭✭
- Ease of Use ✭✭✭✭
For the price of 139 pesos, you actually get 2 colors, 25 ml each. The set I bought has a red and gray, though I haven’t tried using the gray one. Aside from being so affordable, I love how easy it is to apply on my hair.
Penshoppe Colored Wax looked really good on my hair, and it convinced me to permanently dye my hair red!
When you apply this, it smells good, just like a conditioner.
One of my concerns is on how easy it transfers the color to your clothes, that’s why I wore an off-shoulder top. My ear, shoulders, and a tiny part of my cheeks became red, too.
It’s hard for girls to wear this the whole day, as it might stain our clothes, bag, earrings, curtains, and anything that comes close to our hair.
But don’t worry because it’s washable, and I only needed 1 shower to bring back my brown hair.
Also, the wax is too sticky, and it’s hard to comb your hair after application.
The Penshoppe Colored Hair Wax is available in any Penshoppe outlets, and I saw that there are green, violet, blue, and yellow colors, too.
I hope you enjoyed my brief review about this product, feel free to comment down your thoughts about the Penshoppe Colored Hair Wax.
