Sta. Maria, one of the municipalities in Bulacan, is known for its crunchy and delicious chicharon. But this time, we will be visiting a Chicharon store, not only to buy their product, but also to witness their famous Christmas house.
Bikoy’s Pork Chicharon store transforms into a colorful and lively Christmas House at night. Christmas House is in Villarica Subd., Poblacion, Sta. Maria, Bulacan.
The front part of the house boasts of Christmas lights in different shapes and colors.
On the left side, stands an almost 7 ft. tall Christmas Tree, surrounded by different life-size characters like Super Mario, Minions and Bugs Bunny.
When you enter the Christmas house, this Christmas Village miniature will definitely capture your attention.
The train keeps circling around the Christmas village, and the villagers keep on skating in front of the lighted house.
There are different kinds of Santa Claus on the left side of the miniature.
And this big one plays a saxophone and dances, too!
How to Go to Sta. Maria’s Christmas House
Riding a Bus
From Farmer’s Cubao, ride a Del Carmen bus with “Garden signage. Fare is 45php. Del Carmen bus also picks up passengers from SM North and Balintawak.
Drop off at Walter Mart Sta. Clara, on the right side of the road. Then, ride a tricycle going to Villarica Subd. Fare is 30php.
Riding a PUJ
From Monumento, there is a PUJ terminal going to Sta. Maria, with the signage “Sta. Maria”. Drop off at Sta. Maria Municipal Hall, and from there, the Villarica Subd. is just a walking distance. The Christmas house is recognizable because of its bright lights.
Or, ride a tricycle going to Villarica Subd. to avoid getting lost.
Driving your car
From North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), take Bocaue Exit, then turn right. Head to PTT and straight ahead. When you see OG Cafe, or the church, turn right. Straight ahead, and you will reach Villarica Subd.
